Bell Erected by Richard Bell to the memory of his wife Mary Eliza, who died 19 Jul 1849 aged 40 years. Also three of his children who died young: William, Richard & Anna. Also the above named, died 24 Oct 1853 aged 46 years. Mary his daughter died 15 Oct 1854 aged 12 years. Also his son John, died 07 Jun 1854 aged 18 years.

 

Bell The remains of Archy Black a Highlander and Bessy his wife lie underneath, in certain hope of the resurrection of their bodies to glory, honor & immortality at the appearing and kingdom of their Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ, who called to himself their souls which He had saved through faith in his atoning blood, the latter in May 1845 , and the former in Jan 1847.

 

Brown Erected by W. McQuiston in memory of his faithful servant George Brown, who died 31 Oct 1847 aged 65 years.

 

Craig In memoriam. David Craig died 26 Oct 1883 aged 72. Elizabeth Craig died 25 Sep 1887 aged 78. Also their only daughters, Ellen Jane, Elizabeth, Emily Gilmore. Keep the commandments of thy father and forsake not the way of thy mother.

 

Donley Erected by William Donley 1861 in memory of his daughter Margaret who died in infancy. Also his daughter Margaret who died 10 Jan 1864 aged 11 years. Also his son John Donley who died in America 07 Jul 1865 aged 21. The above William Donley who departed this life 11 May (18..) aged 53 years. Also Henry Donley, son of above Wm. Donley, who departed this life 05 Apr 1880 aged 21 years.

 

Gaffikin Sacred to the memory of Thomas Gaffikin who departed this life 22 Jun 1844 aged 41 years. Also Mary, an only daughter, who died 08 Apr 1864 aged 20 years. Also his wife Mary Gaffikin, died 09 Feb 1873 aged 68 years. Also his younger son Arthur Gaffikin, died 11 Dec 1884 aged 41 years. Also Samuel T. Gaffikin, son of Arthur Gaffikin, died 17 Oct 1884 aged 6 years. Also Annie, wife of Arthur Gaffikin, who died 12 Aug 1896 aged 50 years. Blessed are the dead which died in the Lord.

Kirkwood Erected by Hugh Kirkwood, Red Hill, Malone, to the memory of his wife Ann Kirkwood who died 04 Jan 1844 aged 60 years. Also his son Hugh Kirkwood who died 10 Jan 1845 aged 19 years. Hugh Kirkwood departed this life on 11 Mar 1868 aged 84 years, for 32 years a faithful and much esteemed elder of the Church at Malone. Here also rest the remains of his sons: William who died 18 Oct 1846 aged 25 years, John who died in 1850 aged 19 years. And James who, like his father, had been for 14 years a beloved and honoured elder of the Congregation of Malone who died 11 Nov 1887 aged 75 years. "An Israelite indeed in whom was no guile."

 

Kirkwood Erected by Jane Kirkwood in memory of her husband James Kirkwood who died 30 Sep 1890 aged 88 years. Also the above Jane Kirkwood who died 11 Jul 1900.

 

Kirkwood Erected by Alexander Kirkwood, Lisburn, to the memory of his beloved son, John A. Kirkwood, who departed this life 22 Jan 1844 aged 6 years. Also his son William Kirkwood who died 23 Jun 1847 aged 11 years.

 

McCullough Erected by James McCullough in memory of his son William who died 27 May 1848 aged 7 years. Also his daughter Ann who died 25 Jul 1855 aged 17 years. And his brother Samuel, died 15 Apr 1864 aged 37 years. Also the above named James McCullough who died 21 Oct 1867 aged 55 years. Also Eliza his wife who died 17 Sep 1874 aged 60 years. Also his son Robert McCullough, died 10 Sep 1878 aged 26 years. Also his son Samuel McCullough, died 22 Sep 1887 aged .. years.

 

Mackenzie Erected to the memory of Isabella Mackenzie by her brother W. G. Mackenzie F.R.C.S.E.

 

Mackenzie Erected to the memory of Barbara Mackenzie by her son M.B. Mackenzie, M.D., J.P.

 

Mackenzie Erected by the congregation of Malone in loving memory of the Revd. Joseph Mackenzie, who for forty-seven years was their earnest and beloved pastor, the founder and also the first minister of the congregation. He proved himself by a holy life consecrated to his Master's Service, to be a faithful minister of the Gospel of Christ and a true friend and counsellor of his people. Born at Ramelton, Co. Donegal, 09 Mar 1812. He fell asleep in Jesus at Malone 25 Feb 1883. "The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance." Psalm 112, 6.

Moncrieff To the memory of William Moncrieff who departed this life 19 Dec 1847. For eleven years he filled the office of Ruling Elder in the Malone Presbyterian Church, the duties of which he discharged with cheerfulness, fidelity and zeal, till the great Head of the Church called him home. "They that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness, as the stars for ever and ever." Daniel, 12 chap., 3rd verse.

 

Norwood Erected by John Gamble of Melbourne in memory of his sister Agnes Norwood who departed this life 12 Oct 1853 aged 23 years. Also his sister Sarah Jane Gamble who died 26 Sep 1854 aged 17 years.

In bloom of life death swept away The dust beneath the sod Lies slumbering till on judgement day They rise to meet their God.

 

Orr Erected by Thomas Orr, Malone, in memory of his dearly beloved wife Mary who departed this life 31 May 1868 aged 42 years. Also his son Thomas who died 1854 aged 3 years. Agnes died Aug 1858 aged 9 months. Martha Louise died 05 Oct 1868 aged 6 years. William Thos. Alexander died Oct 1869 aged 2 years.

 

Stewart Here rest Isaac Stewart, born A.D. 1796 , died 07 Aug 1869. And Ellen Stewart his wife, born A.D. 1798 , died 06 Sep 1887. Also Matilda Stewart their daughter, born A.D. 1823 , died 10 Nov 1868. Also Sarah White their daughter, born A.D. 1835 , died Oct 1862.

 

Tate In memory of Jas. Tate who died 28 Jun 1853 AE 22 years.

Thou hast come, blest Redeemer, and sweetly released The soul thou hast bought with thy blood, Hast bid him ascend the fair regions of peace And he feasts on the smiles of his God.

 

Also Mary Tate who died 02 May 1854 aged 24 years. Also Martha Jane Tate who died 13 Jan 1856 aged 18 years. Saml Tate died 02 Aug 1863 aged 60 years. His daughter Margaret Mewha died 14 Sep 1863 aged 30 years. And her infant daughter Mary aged 5 months. Samuel Tate died 09 Aug 1869 aged 17 years and 4 months. Elizabeth, wife of the above Samuel Tate, died 10 Feb 1881 AE 76 years. Elizabeth, daughter of the above named Samuel Tate, who died 03 Mar 1903 aged 60 years.

 

Walker Erected by Arthur Walker of Belfast in memory of his daughter Letitia, who died 19 Nov 1845 aged 6 years. And his son John who died 1st Sep 1847 aged 9 years.

 

Warren Erected by Joseph Warren in memory of his daughter Maria who died 15 Jul 1852 aged 6 years.
