Owens Family Tree
Welcome,
I have been investigating my family tree for some time now, and it's been
annoying me that I can't find a use for all the certificates that I've
ordered that are not the one's I needed. So I created this site! Since
then it’s grown rather large and now has over 2Gb of information on it. I
basically save a lot of my research information on here to share with
other like minded people.
My tree is made up of four branches: Owen(s),
O'Rourke, Carey, and Enshaw. I've found several variations of all the
names in my digging. I seem to be made up of English, Welsh, and Irish,
surprisingly no Scottish (as yet). As I'm originally a Scouser (Liverpool) I suppose it's not surprising that I'm
of this mix. You can view all my family names here,

There are 1409 individuals
and 382 families representing 295 surnames in this database.

I have begun transcribing BMD details for
my main family names in the Liverpool/Lancashire, and Caernarvon
(Caernarfon) areas. Transcribed so far are:
- Carey's
Births from 1837 to 1899 & Marriages from 1870 to 1919
- Rourke's
(O'Rourke's) Births from 1860 to
1866 & Marriages from 1897
to 1915
- Owen
& Owens in the 1841 & 1871 census for Lancashire &
Caernarvon (Under Census Details)
